ROUND in Excel and Google Sheets
Round a number to a set number of decimals.
Syntax
=ROUND(number, num_digits)- number
- The value to round.
- num_digits
- Decimals to keep. Negative rounds to tens, hundreds...
Example

B2 =ROUND(A2,2)
Result: 19.88
Rounds to two decimals.

Tips
- Formatting only hides decimals. ROUND changes the value used in later calculations.
